VISITORS HAVE A BALL AT FIRST MUSIC AND DANCE EVENT
26 July 2010
Bracknell Regeneration Partnership’s summer of music and dance kicked off on in style last Saturday.
Visitors were enthralled with the visual comedy of The Invisible Men and the wonderfully wacky gospel renditions of Musical Ruth. The tap dancing crayfish and singing prawns of the world’s first pop up theatrical aquarium enchanted children and adults alike.
The fun continues this Saturday, July 31, with a Community Dance Day in Charles Square. This fantastic community-based dance event runs from 11am to 2pm and features contributions from Project Derelict, Bracknell Morris Dancers, Dancing Nikita Company with a Bollywood Dance exhibition and workshop. If that’s not enough, South Hill Park Dance will be providing even more entertainment.
Helen Barnett, marketing manager, Bracknell Regeneration Partnership says: “Saturday’s performances were a terrific start to our summer of music and I’m very much looking forward to next week’s Community Dance Day!”
Make sure you don’t miss out on any of the FREE events that Bracknell has to offer this summer.
