Hurray for Eco Day!

Visitors to Bracknell Town Centre over the weekend learnt about renewable energy, sustainable transport, energy conservation and recycling as part of Eco Day held in conjunction with Bracknell and District Friends of the Earth.

Bracknell Regeneration Partnership also revealed that the town centre has been awarded a prestigious three star membership to The Green Organisation for its recycling initiative. To extend this even further, Bracknell Regeneration Partnership also unveiled new recycling bins in Princess Square for everyone to use.

Helen Barnett, Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, commented "Eco Day was a fantastic success and we were delighted to share the news of the Green Apple Award with the town.  All the participants involved in Eco Day really engaged shoppers and encouraged them to become a shade greener".
